Emily Boxall is a cross-disciplinary designer specialising in social innovation and sustainability By confronting the challenges a growing population faces in the present climate crisis through a positive perspective, Emily aims to create a more inclusive and empowered society. This strong belief in the power of people to make monumental change is key in the way she approaches her playful research-based projects which are largely community-centric and collaborative.
Her MA thesis centred around food and the complex issues surrounding food poverty and hunger in world full of waste in a failing global food system.
Emily currently works at the Royal College of Art as a design researcher in the School of Design and as an associate lecturer and tutor.
